- A good level of fitness, health and biking skill is necessary.
- This guided bike tour is 9 km / 6 miles long and lasts 2 hours.
- Group size: Small group tour, maximum 15 people in one group.
- We will provide a high-quality E-Bike, and raingear if necessary. Helmets are not required for this tour but are recommended.
- Please bring appropriate clothing depending on the weather
- When you want to bring snacks, please bring a backpack.

Do I need experience with electric bikes to join this tour?
No experience is needed. If you can ride a regular bike, you can ride an e-bike. Before the tour starts, your guide explains how the electric assistance works and makes sure everyone feels comfortable before setting off.
How fast do the e-bikes go?
The e-bikes provide pedal assistance up to a safe, controlled speed that matches city cycling conditions. You stay fully in control at all times, and the assistance simply helps you pedal more easily. The pace of the tour is relaxed and adapted to the group.
The maximum speed of the e-bikes is 25 kilometers (15 miles) per hour, but inside the city we hardly ever reach that speed.
Is riding an e-bike safe in Amsterdam traffic?
Amsterdam is designed for cyclists, and our guides choose routes that suit the group and avoid unnecessary traffic pressure. Safety instructions are given at the start, and the guide keeps a close eye on the group throughout the ride.
What if I prefer less assistance while riding?
That is no problem. You can adjust the level of electric assistance at any time or turn it off completely. This allows you to ride at a level that feels comfortable for you.
Are helmets required on the e-bike tour?
Helmets are not required by law in the Netherlands, but we strongly recommend wearing one. Helmets are available and our guides are happy to help you choose and adjust one properly. Your safety always comes first.
Is there a maximum weight limit for the e-bikes?
For safety reasons, the maximum recommended rider weight for our e-bikes is around 120 kilograms, which is approximately 265 pounds. This ensures the bike performs properly and remains comfortable and safe to ride. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, feel free to contact us before booking and we are happy to advise.
What happens if it rains during the tour?
The tour runs rain or shine, just like everyday cycling in Amsterdam. If rain is expected, we provide rain jackets to keep you comfortable, and the electric bikes make riding easy even in wet conditions.
